Lovies Guitars is excited to offer up this 1983 Gibson Custom Shop Edition Explorer Electric Guitar with an Antique Natural Korina Finish! Rare bird! Original 1983 Gibson Korina Explorer – the first ones after the original run in 1958 and those that were shipped in the early 60s! Of course with the Tim Shaw humbuckers! Gibson produced a lot of Flying Vs and Modernes with their Heritage series in the early 80s but way less Explorers – which is why they are hard to find and selling a lot higher price. Here is your chance to get one – complete your Korina “set” with that magical guitar – sounds as good as it looks! This guitar is in great shape for its age with finish checking on the back of the headstock, a blemish on the back bottom edge of the body, hardware tarnish, several indents and marks, pickguard marks, rated at 8/10. All original with upgraded strap buttons and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs. Included with this guitar is an original hard-shell case, a complimentary sample of Fret-Not, our preferred fretboard cleaner, check it out at fretnot.net and a complimentary Cooper Standard Fin guitar pick—our favorite for enhanced control and reduced movement! Thank you for considering this exceptional instrument from Lovies Guitars.
