This extremely rare Masterbuilt tribute guitar celebrates Bob Dylan’s iconic early ’60s 13-fret acoustics with meticulous craftsmanship and modern playability. Constructed by renowned luthier Ren Ferguson, this guitar features a rich Heirloom Walnut top, back, and sides, hand-scalloped bracing, and impeccable attention to detail throughout. Its 13-fret design, combined with masterful voicing, delivers a resonant, warm, and vintage-inspired tone ideal for fingerstyle, flatpicking, and studio work. This example also comes with an added K&K pickup, ready for stage or recording.
Only two of these guitars were ever made, and the second is currently listed on Ren Ferguson’s website for $25,500—making this an extraordinarily rare collector’s piece.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). Condition is rated at 9.5/10, showing a tiny clear finish touch-up on the top under the bridge, along with a couple of very small dings on the back and sides of the headstock. Overall, this instrument is near perfect and exceptionally well cared for.
