This Historic 1959 Reissue (R9) from Gibson’s Custom Shop perfectly captures the tone, feel, and aesthetics of one of the most iconic Les Pauls ever made. Featuring a beautifully figured quilt maple top with a stunning Washed Cherry VOS finish, this guitar delivers classic vintage Les Paul warmth, harmonically rich overtones, and legendary sustain. The R9 neck profile, original hardware, and carefully voiced Custombucker pickups make it a dream for stage, studio, or collection.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). Condition is rated at 9.4/10 – Very Good, showing a few tiny scuffs on the top and a 2″ ding on the back edge. Otherwise, this instrument is pretty mint, clean, and well-cared-for with no structural issues.
