The Ovation Breadwinner is one of the boldest and most iconic designs of the 1970s—famous for its futuristic body shape, ultra-comfortable contours, and powerful electronics. Instantly recognizable and forever associated with Paul Stanley (KISS), the Breadwinner delivers killer rock tone, exceptional ergonomics, and unmistakable stage presence.
Finished in classic Black, this example absolutely oozes ’70s rock attitude, offering fat, articulate tones perfect for classic rock, glam, and beyond. Lightweight, comfortable, and uniquely styled, the Breadwinner is both a fantastic player and a true collector’s piece.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). Please note: the case is cracked throughout and has one broken hinge, though it remains functional for transport and storage.
Condition is rated at 9/10 – Very Good, showing typical pickguard play wear, light overall aging, a small chip on both the bass and treble sides of the headstock, a few small dings on the back, and one small ding near the lower strap button. All wear is cosmetic and consistent with careful vintage use—no cracks, no repairs, and no structural issues.
