Built to celebrate the 70th anniversary of one of the most iconic electric guitars ever created, this exceptional Custom Shop model from Fender captures the spirit, feel, and tone of the original 1954 Stratocaster with elite craftsmanship and period-correct detail.
Featuring an ash body and hand-wound HW ’54 Strat Relic pickups, this guitar delivers the unmistakable early Strat tone—glassy highs, woody mids, bell-like articulation, and dynamic responsiveness with exceptional clarity and vintage character. The relic treatment is expertly executed by the Fender Custom Shop, giving the instrument a naturally broken-in feel and authentic vintage aesthetic right out of the case.
The custom 70th Anniversary ’54 Strat Relic neck profile paired with the compound 7.25″-9.5″ fingerboard radius provides vintage comfort with enhanced modern playability. Every detail reflects Fender’s effort to honor the legendary first-year Stratocaster design.
This guitar is all original (OG) except for the missing tremolo arm and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition is rated at 9.9/10 – Excellent (Minty). Factory relic condition with virtually no additional wear beyond the intentional Custom Shop aging.
