Known worldwide as “The Workhorse,” the J-45 has been Gibson’s flagship acoustic guitar since 1942 and remains one of the most recorded and played acoustics in music history. Revered for its warm, balanced voice and exceptional versatility, the J-45 continues to be a favorite among singer-songwriters, touring musicians, and recording artists across every genre.
This J-45 delivers the classic Gibson acoustic sound—warm lows, rich midrange presence, and sweet, rounded highs with outstanding balance and responsiveness. The dreadnought body provides excellent projection while maintaining a controlled, musical character that works beautifully for strumming, fingerpicking, recording, and live performance. This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 7.5/10 – Good. Features a repaired top crack that has been professionally cleated. There are a few small dings on the back and three dings on the tip of the headstock. Despite these cosmetic and repair-related issues, the guitar shows very little actual play wear and remains a strong-playing modern J-45 with excellent tone and functionality.
