Another quality Guitar from Lovies Guitars!
Lovies Guitars is excited to present this Vintage! 1965 Fender Mustang Slab Board Electric Guitar finished in Fiesta Red. This early Mustang is a fantastic example of Fender’s short-scale offset design from the mid-’60s, featuring the desirable slab rosewood fingerboard and classic early Mustang appointments. Completely original and full of vintage character, this is a great example from the model’s formative years.
The Mustang’s compact body and shorter scale make it exceptionally comfortable to play, while its two single-coil pickups and straightforward switching provide the bright, punchy, and articulate tones associated with these early Fenders. The slab rosewood fingerboard adds to the feel and collectibility of this vintage example.
The Fiesta Red finish has developed typical natural finish checking over the years, adding plenty of authentic vintage character. This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9/10 – Very Good. Very good condition for its age. Features typical finish checking, along with a few dings on the top and back. The frets show good wear consistent with its age and use. There is also light damage around the truss rod access area of the pickguard. Overall, a very cool and well-preserved vintage Mustang with honest cosmetic and play wear.
