Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this D-28 delivers that unmistakable Martin dreadnought depth and warmth, with crisp definition across the tonal spectrum. The mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard feel broken-in and ultra-comfortable, offering classic Martin playability and sustain.
This one is mostly original, with a strap button added to the neck heel and a replacement pickguard (the original had likely lifted over time, a common issue for this era). It comes in a non-original hardshell case and is in 8.5/10 condition — showing typical honest play wear for its age. There are minor dings on the back of the neck, light scratches on the back, visible glue under the added pickguard, and a small scuff on the back of the headstock, but no major cracks, dings, or repairs. A structurally solid, great-playing vintage D-28 with tons of character and tone!
