The Martin D-35 has long been prized for its rich low end, smooth mids, and powerful projection—thanks in part to its iconic three-piece rosewood back. A staple of singer-songwriters and strummers alike, the D-35 offers a full, balanced voice that excels in ensemble settings while remaining warm and articulate for solo playing. This mid-’70s example delivers classic Martin tone with decades of natural aging and character.
This guitar is all original (OG) and includes a pickup, making it stage-ready. It comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). Condition is rated at 8.7/10 – Very Good, showing medium pickguard wear, light finish checking, and honest cosmetic aging consistent with its age. Importantly, there are no cracks and no binding repairs. There is a signature on the back of the headstock, which does not affect playability or structure.
