Built in the USA by G&L Musical Instruments, the ASAT Classic represents Leo Fender’s refined evolution of the traditional T-style platform, combining vintage-inspired design with improved engineering, enhanced stability, and exceptional build quality. Early-’90s USA G&L instruments are highly regarded for their craftsmanship, resonance, and dynamic, responsive tone.
This ASAT Classic delivers the unmistakable T-style voice with added clarity and refinement—tight, punchy lows, strong midrange bite, and crisp, articulate highs with excellent note separation. The single-coil pickups provide classic twang and sparkle while retaining enough body and warmth for blues, country, rock, and studio applications. It is an extremely responsive instrument that reacts well to picking dynamics and volume changes.
The Trans Green finish beautifully showcases the natural grain of the body, giving the guitar a striking, organic aesthetic that highlights the quality of the tonewoods beneath.
This guitar comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC). It remains structurally original, though it features non-original strap buttons and replacement knobs.
Condition: 8.8/10 – Very Good. A variety of small dings and indentations across the top, with a few additional dings near the input jack and on the back. There is a small chip in the finish near the string-through area on the back, along with a light scuff at the top of the headstock. Overall, a solid and well-playing USA-built G&L with honest cosmetic wear.
