Highly figured Peroba wood brings a new level of exotic beauty to Gibson’s famous Les Paul guitar, while the SmartWood label is its seal of approval from the Rainforest Alliance, underscoring Gibson’s continuing commitment to sustainable forestry management. All Smart Wood Les Pauls have the Forest Stewardship Council Smart Wood-certified forestry designation on the truss rod cover. The FSC trademark identifies products that contain wood from well-managed forests, certified in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council. A portion of all sales were donated to benefit the Rainforest Alliance. This guitar is in excellent shape, with light blemishes below the bride and tail piece, light hardware tarnish, a couple micro marks and tiny indents, rated at 9.5/10.
