The Melissa Etheridge Signature acoustic- electric guitar features a AA solid spruce top for enhanced sustain for leading or chording, a comfortable Mid-depth Lyrachord composite body with X-bracing for a big, full-range sound unplugged or direct and a durable five-piece mahogany/ maple neck with a responsive ebony fretboard. Melissa’s personal touches include white pearloid soundhole epaulets and a signature “ME” Venus 12th-fret inlay. The onboard Ovation OCP-1K pickup and Op-Pro Studio preamp give this guitar a natural and dynamic direct tone and the powerful EQ section lets players take control of their tone straight from the stage. The solid spruce top brings excellent projection, balance and focus to Ovation’s Mid-depth Lyrachord body, which is built from a tough composite to resist warping and cracking.
