Built by the Gibson Custom Shop, the Les Paul Custom stands as one of the most iconic and prestigious electric guitars ever produced. Known as the “Black Beauty,” it combines elegant appointments, premium craftsmanship, and the powerful tone that has made it a staple of professional players for decades.
This Les Paul Custom delivers thick, sustaining tones with rich mids, focused lows, and smooth highs. The mahogany body and carved maple top provide excellent resonance and depth, while the ebony fingerboard contributes fast playability and articulate note attack. From blues and classic rock to hard rock and fusion, this guitar offers the versatility and authority expected from a Custom Shop Les Paul.
The Black Ebony finish paired with multi-ply binding and gold hardware creates the timeless upscale aesthetic that has made the Les Paul Custom one of Gibson’s most recognizable instruments.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.2/10 – Very Good. Heavy play wear and aging on the hardware. Lacquer burn on the neck. Large chip on the treble side of the headstock. Overall a well-played Custom Shop instrument with honest player wear and plenty of life remaining.
