Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 2005 Gibson Custom Shop ’58 Les Paul Reissue Electric Guitar finished in classic Cherry Sunburst. Built by the Gibson Custom Shop, this R8 Historic Reissue captures the early late-’50s Les Paul formula with vintage-correct construction, exceptional tonewood selection, and the legendary sustain and warmth that define the platform.
This Les Paul delivers a powerful, dynamic tone with rich midrange, singing sustain, and articulate highs. The carved maple top and solid mahogany body provide excellent resonance and depth, while the ’58 neck profile offers a substantial, comfortable vintage feel favored by players who want maximum stability and tone.
The Cherry Sunburst finish highlights the figured maple top beautifully and has naturally aged with tasteful binding discoloration, adding authentic vintage character to this already highly regarded Custom Shop reissue.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.5/10 – Excellent. Light surface scratches on top with a few small dings. One medium indent under the bridge on the bass side of the top. Light scratches on the back. Natural finish aging and discoloration present on the binding. Overall very clean and well preserved.
