This is a classic full-hollow jazz box with a super warm, smooth voice—fat lows, sweet highs, and that airy acoustic “bloom” you only get from a true hollowbody. The Herb Ellis model is beloved for its comfortable feel, elegant simplicity, and rich, mellow tone that stays articulate whether you’re comping chords or playing single-note lines.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition is rated at 9.4/10 – Excellent. There is light aging on the hardware and light aging in the finish, along with light finish checking on the sides. No cracks and no repairs. Very clean overall with honest, tasteful cosmetic aging.
