The Lucille is one of Gibson Custom’s most iconic semi-hollow creations, designed in collaboration with blues legend B.B. King and built to deliver feedback-free performance, rich sustain, and expressive, vocal-like tone. This rare example features the highly desirable crown headstock inlay, adding an extra layer of collectability to an already legendary instrument.
This Lucille delivers the unmistakable B.B. King voice—warm, singing mids, smooth highs, and a thick, articulate low end that responds beautifully to dynamic playing. The fully hollow construction (without f-holes) helps reduce feedback at high volumes while preserving the airy resonance and depth expected from a premium Gibson Custom build. From blues to jazz to soulful lead work, this guitar offers exceptional expressiveness and control.

This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 8.6/10 – Good. Heavy pickguard scratches and general play wear across the top. Light finish wear is present, along with typical aging on the hardware. There are light marks on the back of the neck and various small surface dings throughout the body. A larger finish chip repair is present near the input jack. Overall, a solid, great-playing Custom Shop Lucille with honest cosmetic wear and strong stage-ready functionality.
