Known affectionately as the “Black Beauty,” the Les Paul Custom has long represented the pinnacle of Gibson’s solid-body lineup. This 2007 Custom Shop example showcases the premium craftsmanship, elegant appointments, and unmistakable tone that have made the Les Paul Custom a favorite among legendary guitarists for decades.
Built with a solid mahogany body and carved maple top, this Les Paul Custom delivers the rich sustain, thick midrange, and singing highs that define the model. The Custom Shop humbuckers provide everything from warm, articulate clean tones to thick, harmonically rich overdrive, making this guitar equally at home playing blues, classic rock, hard rock, jazz, or modern styles. Every note rings with the authority and sustain that have made the Les Paul Custom one of the most iconic electric guitars ever built.
The timeless Black Ebony finish, multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and mother-of-pearl block inlays create the unmistakable elegance that has earned the Les Paul Custom its legendary reputation. This example has been fitted with added strap locks for improved stage security while otherwise remaining all original.
This guitar is all original (OG) aside from the added strap locks and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9/10 – Very Good. Shows honest player wear with light aging to the finish and gold hardware. There are various small dings throughout the body along with a cracked rear control cavity plate. Overall, this is a well-maintained player’s Custom Shop Les Paul that remains in excellent playing condition.
