This ultra-limited, boutique-grade instrument was developed over many years of collaboration between master builder Ronnie Asher and legendary guitarist Redd Volkaert, resulting in a highly refined, vintage-inspired T-style guitar with exceptional tonal range, feel, and ergonomic balance. Built in an extremely limited run of only 10 instruments, this #3 example is a rare collector-grade piece with serious stage-ready capability.
As described by Redd Volkaert himself:
“This guitar has a really punchy, fat, woody bottom-end while still being tight. It also has a throaty, tubey mid-range and sweet highs with just enough sparkle and bite to make it exciting. In my opinion we’ve found the perfect balance.”
Volkaert and Asher spent years refining this model to achieve a high-performance instrument that blends vintage inspiration with modern precision. Key construction features include a tight-grain rock maple volute neck for exceptional stability, premium top-tier hardware, nitrocellulose lacquer finish with matching headstock, and an easy-access truss rod system.
The pickups are custom wound by Jason Lollar after multiple live-stage prototype tests, delivering balanced vintage tone with subtle microphonic character that enhances natural resonance and dynamic response across a wide range of playing styles.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its G&G Deluxe Hardshell Case.
Condition is rated at 9.7/10 – Excellent. The guitar shows light play wear consistent with careful use, light hardware patina, and very minimal cosmetic aging. The factory light relic finish is intact and authentic to the build.
