The SG Diablo takes Gibson’s legendary double-cutaway design and gives it a bold, upscale treatment with a carved maple top, premium appointments, and a powerful dual-humbucker electronics package. With its dramatic looks, effortless upper-fret access, and unmistakable Gibson tone, the Diablo is a distinctive and highly desirable variation of the classic SG platform.
Built with a Mahogany body and carved Maple top, this SG delivers the warmth, sustain, and midrange punch players expect from Gibson while adding extra clarity and definition from the maple cap. A pair of Gibson humbuckers provides everything from rich cleans and thick rhythm tones to aggressive crunch and singing leads. The slim, fast-playing Mahogany neck and 24.75-inch scale make the Diablo exceptionally comfortable and responsive across the entire fingerboard.
The Trans Black finish allows the figured top to show through while giving the guitar a dark, aggressive appearance. This example features chrome control knobs and a changed truss rod cover. Additional strap button holes were previously added and have since been filled on the upper bass-side horn and back bass-side horn.
This guitar comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.2/10 – Very Good. The top remains pretty clean overall. The back shows medium buckle rash and general surface wear from normal playing. Added strap button holes on the upper bass-side horn and back bass-side horn have been filled. Chrome control knobs and a changed truss rod cover are present. Overall, a clean and attractive example with honest player wear.
