With wave after wave of cutting-edge designs, no one is likely to accuse Gibson of a lack of innovation. However, in the case of the 2012 Les Paul Traditional solidbody electric guitar, they applied their genius to bringing back many of the rarer characteristics of their most famous guitars in its heyday. The 2012 Les Paul Traditional starts off with a solid mahogany body topped with AA figured maple for beautifully balanced tone and epic sustain. A rounded ’50s neck profile also adds to the appeal of this axe, but the real crowning glory is the Les Paul Traditional’s pair of ’59 Tribute humbuckers, which deliver the extra-hot tone that really kicked off the rock age. This guitar is in excellent shape with light hardware tarnish and some minor indents and marks, rated at 9/10. Has upgraded strap buttons and knobs and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
