The Sadowsky MetroLine is the answer for bassists who want Sadowsky sound, feel and precision—without the long wait typically associated with Roger Sadowsky’s outstanding custom-made instruments. MetroLines basses also save you almost half of the cost of a New York Sadowsky. This ’59 Burst MV-4 four string features traditional Sadowsky appointments, including alder body, thin nitro finish, Sadowsky hum-canceling J bass pickups, sadowsky preamp and custom hardware. The maple neck features a nitro matte-finish and rosewood fingerboard. The feel is about perfect. Made by Roger Sadowsky’s personally trained protégé, Yoshi Kikuchi, in Tokyo, the small shop is standardizing certain options (while the NY shop will continue to make custom instruments). Expect the same craftsmanship and quality as a NY Sadowsky at a more affordable price! Great Shape with a few minor indents on the body, 8.8/10. ALL Original, except a volume knob was replaced. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs! Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!
