This highly unique Custom Shop creation showcases Martin’s legendary craftsmanship in a compact and inspiring package. Built as a Size 5 Terz guitar, this instrument is designed to be tuned higher than a standard guitar, producing a bright, lively voice that is perfect for fingerstyle playing, recording, alternate tunings, ensemble work, and songwriting. Combined with beautifully figured flamed mahogany and elegant Custom Shop detailing, this is a rare and distinctive Martin that stands apart from traditional acoustic offerings.
The compact 12-fret design gives the guitar a remarkably responsive and intimate feel, while the Terz scale delivers exceptional clarity, projection, and harmonic richness. This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.4/10 – Very Good. A handful of light indentations are present near the treble side of the soundhole. There is one light indent on the top below the bridge near the binding, along with two additional small indents on the bass-side shoulder and treble-side waist. The back shows some light indentations near the binding, and there is light finish worming and a few minor indents on the treble side. Overall, a very clean and well-preserved Custom Shop instrument with only minor cosmetic wear.
