Built by Martin Guitar, the HD-28 is one of the most iconic dreadnoughts ever produced, known for its powerful low end, shimmering highs, and the unmistakable rosewood dreadnought voice that has defined countless recordings across generations.
This HD-28 delivers the classic Martin dreadnought sound—deep, resonant bass response, rich and woody mids, and crisp, articulate highs with excellent projection and sustain. It excels in strumming and flatpicking applications, while still offering enough clarity for more nuanced fingerstyle work. A true workhorse acoustic with professional-grade tone and versatility.
This example shows some unique cosmetic character, including an interesting top finish and some overspray on the back. The bridge has been professionally reset, ensuring proper playability and long-term structural stability.
