Another quality Guitar from Lovies Guitars!
Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 2021 Gibson ES-335 Dot finished in Olive Drab Gloss Aged. This is a killer-looking ES-335 with a unique military-inspired finish and some interesting modifications that give it plenty of personality.
This guitar features a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickup, adding a classic PAF-style voice with plenty of bite, clarity, and harmonic character. The pickguard is a non-original Government Series pickguard, and the guitar has also had an aftermarket checking/relic job performed. The checking is a DIY-style relic treatment rather than factory Gibson aging, so we’re being completely upfront about the work.
Condition is a solid 8/10 – Very Good. It shows signs of wear throughout, along with the added checking and relic work. It’s definitely not a factory-mint example, but it has a cool, well-worn appearance and plenty of character.
Adding another interesting layer to this ES-335, it was owned by Jimmy of the Goo Goo Dolls, giving the guitar some noteworthy player provenance.
8/10 – Very Good
Good overall condition with signs of wear throughout. Aftermarket/D.I.Y. checking and relic work. Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickup installed. Government Series pickguard is non-original.
