Description
Lovies Guitars is excited to offer up this 1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar with a Gold Finish! In 1952, Gibson changed the world forever with the release of the Les Paul model. The very next year, this guitar was made and became a part of the legend of these iconic instruments. This guitar has the tone and playability you would expect from a Vintage Les Paul. Plugged in, this axe has some really nice meaty growls and great vintage like overtones! Really shimmery highs that don’t get harsh. It plays great, has a perfect neck and a quick action. This guitar is in excellent shape for its age with light finish checking, light hardware tarnish, some minor indents and marks and minor buckle wear, rated at 9/10. All original with “Henry” on pickguard and truss rod cover and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs. Included with this guitar is an original hard-shell case and a complimentary sample of Fret-Not, our preferred fretboard cleaner, check it out at fretnot.net! Thank you for considering this exceptional instrument from Lovies Guitars.
