Known to some as the “King of The Flattops”, the J-200 was the top-of-the-line Gibson acoustic model has been used by countless legends of rock, country, and pop music. It’s jumbo body design and maple construction give these guitars a unique tone as well as a beautiful appearance. This example from 1961 features a gorgeously figured maple back and sides with a solid spruce top, the perfect Gibson neck profile with plenty of fret life left. A stellar sounding instrument; these guitars are becoming harder to find in this condition! Great Shape for its age! 1st fret inlay split, a light blemish on the neck, some indents and marks, binding split in 2 spots, and some light finish checking, 8.5/10.
