Lovies Guitars is offering up a Rad Vintage Martin 00-18C Classical Guitar! Martin Guitar Company made dedicated classical guitars starting in 1936 with the 00-18G (for Gut strings) earlier version and then, between 1962 and 1976 they made 4,231 00-18C (Classical) plus 4 more in ’79, ’80 and ’87. In ’68 the peak production year for this model, they made 250. Like other Style -18 Martins of its time this has the thin four-ply white-black top purfling, a three concentric ring rosette comprised of two outer rings of black with a center ring of 7 plies. Its top and back are bound in black and the backstripe is a thin black line. For something so modest this guitar sounds amazing; we love hearing it played in the classical way! This instrument is in Excellent Shape with NO wood cracks, but there is some finish checking on the top, a couple indents and finish marks on the body, easy 9.5/10! ALL Original-NO Breaks or Repairs, Includes a Hard-Shell Case!!
