Lovies Guitars is offering up this 1993 Taylor DCSM Dan Crary Signature Natural Acoustic Guitar! The DCSM was the first signature model offered by Taylor. Dan Crary (bluegrass legend) had significant impact on the overall design of the guitar. It is modeled after an 810C, but with a thin hot-rod neck and a special bracing pattern that emphasizes the mid and treble. This means it has less low-end boom than other dreadnaughts, like say a Martin D-28, but does a much better job of cutting through the mix when single line leads or melody parts are played. This guitar was designed for flat picking, but the bracing and neck really add to its beauty for finger-style as well. It sounds especially sweet when played delicately high up the neck, which is uncommon for a dreadnaught. It also has a very thin, very fast neck, and the cutaway lets you play comfortably up to about the 17th fret, which is critical for blues leads. Super versatile Acoustic Dreadnaught Guitar!
