Made as a tribute to the late Yes legend, this limited edition model is a faithful recreation of Squire’s iconic RM1999 bass. With its maple body and neck, bound fingerboard, and unmistakable Rickenbacker tone, the 4001CS delivers the punch, clarity, and growl that helped define progressive rock bass playing. Only a small number of these were produced, making them highly sought-after by collectors and players alike.
This example has lived most of its life in its case and has been extremely well preserved. It’s in 9.8/10 condition, showing only light play wear and minor aging. The pickguard has some paint chipping underneath, but there’s no major damage anywhere on the instrument. Plays beautifully and sounds massive! Comes with the original hard shell case.
