Lovies Guitars is offering up this 2008 Gibson Slash Signature Les Paul Electric Guitar with an Amazing Tobacco Burst Flame Top Finish! This a recreation of the Gibson Standard that Slash currently tours with — one he notes as a “badass guitar,” which is a favorite for live environments. It has a Tobacco Burst Flame Top Finish applied to a solid mahogany body, an AA maple figured top and dark back. The body features Gibson’s period-correct weight-relief structure with a pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbuckers. The neck was designed by Slash: a solid mahogany with a thin profile and headstock showcasing a skull and crossbones, top hat logo and signature.Super cool tobacco flame top and all of the great features you would expect on a top of the line Gibson. These sold out immediately and have been steadily appreciating in value year over year since the run was released. Tonally this guitar is a step above most Les Paul’s, the midrange is clear with a nice bite but not overpowering. The rest of the tonal spectrum is useable and this guitar rolls off easy to create great blues and creamy tones, without fighting with the guitar. This Sick Axe is in Excellent Shape with just a few super minor finish marks and indents on the body, pots cover has light wear, easy 9.5/10!
