Gibson’s Nashville’s SG Standard ’61 pays tribute to the first model year of the legendary solidbody electric guitar — small pickguard, Heritage Cherry finish and all. The SG Standard ’61 is spec’d with a pair of Burstbucker ‘61s (neck pickup has been upgraded), a fast & comfortable SlimTaper neck with a fully bound, Plek’d rosewood fretboard with trapezoidal inlays, low action and a straight neck. The slim taper neck has 22 frets, bound rosewood fingerboard, 24.75″ scale length and 1.695″-wide Tektoid nut. The frets have been Plek’d at the Gibson factory for perfectly leveled frets. Seymour Duncan SPH901N in the neck and the Burstbucker ‘61T in the bridge sound great, it has a 3 way toggle, 2 volumes, 2 tones, Gibson Deluxe tuners with green Keystone buttons, tune-o-matic bridge and Maestro Vibrola unit. This Awesome instrument is in Excellent Shape, with some pickguard wear, some minor dimples and minor marks on the body, a few tiny dimples on the neck and headstock, easy 9/10! ALL Original, except for the upgraded neck pickup. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!!
