In 2001 Gibson Custom Shop produced a Limited run of Brazilian board R9’s given to award dealers. There were about 50 guitars made in the 9 1203 to 9 1250 range. This is one of the Official Brazilian R9’s made in 2001. This guitar is stunning! It has an amazing figured Eastern Maple top, the maple used on these 50 guitars is so unique that these are immediately recognizable as part of this special run. This guitar was sent to Tom Murphy for his aging treatment and the finished product is incredible. This guitar is in minty shape, rated at 9.5/10. All original and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
