Lovies Guitars is offering up this 1999 Gibson Les Paul Classic Premium Plus Non-Chambered Electric Guitar in a Stunning Wine Red Flametop Finish! The Gibson Les Paul Classic was introduced in 1990 as a reissue based on the 1960 Les Paul. The Les Paul Classic specifications were adjusted during the early 1990s. The first change was the addition of the Les Paul Classic Premium Plus model which had a figured, curly or “Plus” top in April 1991. In many respects the Les Paul Classic Plus was a more accurate reissue than the ’59 Les Paul of the early 90’s. By swapping a few easily found parts: a Classic truss rod cover, pickup covers and a new pick guard, a Classic Plus with a nicely flamed top would look just as nice as a ’59 reissue but far cheaper! This axe sounds awesome and just rips. Plays with ease and has lots of sustain. It stays in tune and rings true. This has a great quality build and feel to it! This awesome guitar is in Excellent Shape with some minor dimples on the top, a couple light marks around knobs and selector switch, a few dimples on the lower back body, a bit of very minor buckle wear on the back, pots cover has a few light marks, sides of the body have a couple minor indents, headstock has a couple very small marks and a bit of super light fret wear, easy 9/10! ALL Original, except for the upgraded 36th Anniversary DiMarzio DP103 PAF Set of pickups. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case.
