The Les Paul Standard ’60s Neck is, by all means, the regular LP Standard model, with the exception of the neck contour. As the name says, this one has the ’60s slim taper neck shape. Back in 1950s, necks on Les Paul models were chunky and rounded. Near the end of the 1950s, Gibson started changing them a little bit, while in the 1960s they came up with the revolutionary slim taper contour. Millions of guitarists grew up and learned to play on ’60s necks and this Standard is for them. Solid single-cut body is made of mahogany and carved flame maple. Standard two-piece bridge unit is fronted by a pair of Standard Alnico V humbuckers with standard controls unit. Mahogany neck is set in and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. In Great Shape Overall, though there’s a fair sized indent on the top and some minor finish marks on the back, also the case has a broken latch. ALL Original! No Breaks, Cracks or Repairs!
