Lovies Guitars is excited to present this John Carruthers Custom Chambered Natural Acoustic/ Electric Guitar Shown on Pawn Stars! This is a custom built electric guitar made by the famed luthier John Carruthers. Carruthers has built guitars for countless musicians, designing the Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy D’Aquisto & Robben Ford models for Fender. As well as all Vintage Reissues and the Fender Acoustic line of guitars. His work was so impressive Fender asked him to run the Fender Custom Shop, but John respectfully declined to pursue his own guitar making business. John has personally confirmed to us that this is one of his guitars. This instrument features a piezo bridge and EMG 61-80 pickups. It was designed to play like an electric but it can sound acoustic or electric as it has been chambered. Unlike some chambered designs the guitar is highly resistant to feedback and the design is still used by Carruthers but with a different body style. This guitar is in great shape with several minor indents and marks and an indent on the binding by the output, rated at 8.5/10. All original and free of any breaks or repairs.
