The Maui Wowie Custom was created with tone woods that are grown naturally on the islands of Hawaii. This unique round shoulder dreadnought is one of a special run of 24 built in the month of June, 2003. The all Koa body produces a rich, sweet tone that not only sparkles, but projects with great volume. Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Gibson Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock. The variation in the Koa throughout the body is really gorgeous. Rosewood bridge with abalone dot inlays & compensated saddle. MINTY Shape with light pickguard marks, a couple minor dimples and marks on the body and cloudy finish on the headstock, 9.5/10. Has upgraded tuners. All of our guitars are fitted with a fresh set of our favorite strings by Stringjoy!
