Lovies Guitars is offering up this 2004 Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Top with a Gorgeous Fire Burst Finish! Before the introduction of the magnificent Drop Top in 1990, the number of “S” style guitars that had a maple top that was “dropped” to create a comfortable forearm contour were exactly zero. As a result of this design, Anderson Guitarworks have chosen a body top thickness of 3/16 of an inch, which actually enhances and enriches the sonic character of the instrument. The result is a guitar that not only plays effortlessly, is extremely comfortable, and sounds amazing but is so darn good looking that if you don’t dress well it just may upstage you. Alder is Anderson Guitarworks most popular backing wood, its lower-mid fullness and upper-mid bump give a familiar “S” timbre that supports the lower-end fullness of single coil pickups and humbuckers alike while its upper-mid penetration makes sure other instruments are unable to step into your spot on stage. M1 Pickup in the Neck and Middle positions create Huge and fat, hum-free single coil tones. H 2+ Bridge pickup is Perhaps Anderson Guitarworks’ most popular bridge humbucker. Not too hot, not too cold but just right with a big low end. Full mids without giving up all the highs and lows. This Amazing guitar is in MINTY Shape with just a couple super light and tiny marks on the top, a few dimples of varying sizes on the back and sides of the body, a fair sized mark near the neck heel and a couple tiny dimples on the headstock, easy 9/10! ALL Original, however the specs sheet does not match this guitar-NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!!
