Lovies Guitars is offering up a Gibson Les Paul Custom ’59 Reissue in a Classic Aged Bourbon Flametop Finish! The 2014 Les Paul 1959 Reissue from Gibson Custom has all the simple yet dramatic changes that elevated the Historic Reissue to the “one to have” status. This one off looking “handpicked ” Custom Shop model has a pair of factory installed Dimarzio cream humbucking pickups and a tastefully done hand aged finish. Gibson also used a 1-piece dark rosewood fingerboard. The mahogany body and neck are stained with aniline dye to give it the richest and deepest color and grain detail while allowing the body’s resonance to increase. The neck and fingerboard are fitted with hide-glue which will help with resonance as well. The Kluson “Deluxe” tuners were redesigned to be the most accurate reproductions yet. The body binding was accurately darkened for more of a correct vintage look. Excellent Shape with a few light finish marks on the body, Aged to perfection!
