Inspired by one of the most famous Les Paul Customs in rock history, the Peter Frampton Signature Les Paul Custom pays tribute to the legendary three-pickup “Phenix” guitar that has accompanied Frampton throughout his iconic career. Built by the Gibson Custom Shop with painstaking attention to detail, this signature model captures the look, feel, and unmistakable tone of one of the most celebrated Les Paul Customs ever made.
Featuring a solid Mahogany body with a carved Maple top, Ebony fingerboard, and the signature three CustomBucker humbucker configuration, this Les Paul delivers incredible sustain, articulate cleans, and thick, harmonically rich overdrive. The three-pickup layout offers an expanded tonal palette, allowing everything from classic Les Paul warmth to the distinctive in-between tones made famous by Peter Frampton on countless recordings and live performances.
Finished in timeless Black Beauty, this guitar showcases elegant multi-ply binding, gold hardware, split-diamond headstock inlay, and all of the luxurious appointments that have made the Les Paul Custom Gibson’s flagship solid-body model for decades. It is both a world-class player’s instrument and an exceptional collectible.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.8/10 – Excellent. Minty condition with only light natural aging on the gold hardware and a small finish reaction spot on the back of the headstock caused by a tuner. The remainder of the guitar is exceptionally clean and beautifully preserved.
