The Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro V Flame Top electric guitar takes a timeless design to the next level. This Les Paul packs the resonant tone of a mahogany body and maple top with the versatility of advanced electronics for a true player’s experience. The mahogany neck has an asymmetrical shape for comfort while the Grover tuners provide rock-solid intonation. The TradBucker pickups deliver the classic Les Paul sound with the ability to split the humbuckers to single coils or tap into different coil configurations via the push/pull controls. The TradBucker pickups carry the renowned Les Paul tone with articulate mids, tight bass and singing highs. The bridge pickup is overwound for a punchy lead sound while the neck pickup is underwound for a warm, melodic tone. With the push/pull controls, you can split the humbuckers to single coils for snappy clarity or tap into the inner and outer coils of the bridge pickup for focused midrange. This array of tonal options lets you craft your signature sound.
The control layout may look familiar but hides advanced electronics for shaping your tone. The volume controls feature push/pull switches to split the humbuckers into single coils, transforming your Les Paul into a lean, articulate instrument. The treble tone control also functions as a phase switch in single-coil mode. When the humbuckers are split, the treble tone control toggles between the inner and outer coils of the bridge pickup. From full humbuckers to single coils to tapped coils, this Les Paul covers the entire spectrum of electric guitar tones.
As iconic as the Les Paul shape is, playability has always come first. The asymmetrical neck profile offers a comfortably rounded shape for chording and rhythm playing along with a flatter surface for soloing higher up the neck. The bound rosewood fretboard provides a smooth playing surface while the medium-jumbo frets make bending and vibrato easy. This Les Paul is crafted to the highest standards with a mahogany body, maple top and Grover tuners for lifelong reliability. This guitar is in minty shape with a tiny indent on the headstock and a couple minor indents and marks, rated at 9.5/10. All original and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
