The satin Fire Burst finish feels amazing and truly looks even better in person. The overall build quality is absolutely phenomenal, too. The neck, frets, nut, and bridge are all absolutely perfectly constructed to provide a feel that will be instantly recognizable to most players. The Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups are about as good as it gets in the PAF recreation world. It’s that vintage humbucker tone that we all know and love so well from back in the late 50’s and into the 60’s. It has a distinct brightness to the sound that you don’t regularly find in humbuckers. It’s almost like you get the top-end spank and chime of a single-coil but with the fullness of a humbucker. The maple top also helps to add some brightness to the tone while the mahogany body and neck provide some balanced mid-range presence to go along with the warmth of the rosewood fretboard.
