This is an updated double-humbucker version of the Aquila that Mayones released in 2020. They’ve also done away with the pickguard to help show off more of that gorgeous 4A flame maple top. The build quality is every bit what we’ve come to expect from Mayones – masterful from top to bottom. The fretwork is incredible and the recessed trem bridge allows for freakishly low action. The roasted maple neck feels incredible and the Ebony fretboard looks stunning. The neck is fast to maneuver on but also is not paper-thin. It has a bit of a more traditional C-shaped neck than many of Mayones’ shredder-oriented builds. Equipped with a pair of killer Bare Knuckle TKO 6 pickups!
