Lovies Guitars is excited to offer up this 2023 Gibson Custom 1961 SG Reissue Electric Guitar with an Alpine White Finish! 1961 brought some big changes to the Gibson Les Paul; most notably a sleek, all-new, double-cutaway, all-mahogany body design that would later be renamed the SG. This Gibson Custom Shop model recreates the first Les Paul SG Customs, complete with Custom-style cosmetics, gold hardware, and a Sideways Vibrola, a side-pull action vibrato that is similar to those found on models from the early 1960s. It also has a bound Authentic ’61 Thin Profile mahogany neck, Grover tuners, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, three Custombucker pickups, CTS vintage-taper pots, and Black Beauty capacitors. This guitar is in excellent shape with light hardware tarnish and minor touch-up on the back, rated at 9.5/10. All original and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
