The Flying ’59 V is simply one of the most iconic designs to ever come out of the Gibson archives. The ’59 V has a “string through body” bridge set up, gold parts, white black white laminated pickguard and a lightweight and resonant mahogany body. It has a great feeling custom ’59 neck profile and two custom spec under wound Gibson Custom Bucker pickups that give this guitar a sound as close to the original ’59 PAF pickups as you will hear.
