Joe Knaggs, head of R & D at PRS for a number of years as well as the head of the Private Stock department, had his hand in almost every Private Stock ever built and as such, his name and signature is often found on the COA’s and headstock’s of those amazing guitars. This will be very familiar for any PRS Custom fans out there and given these are hand built one at a time, the attention to detail is second to none. These guitars maintain all the Vintage tones you need, handle modern gain like you expect and sustain for days thanks to the set neck design. Knaggs Severn X has a host of modern features that make this instrument a dominant force on the Super Strat scene, such as a Swamp Ash body, Maple neck and fretboard, Choptank headstock, Seymour Duncan TB4 and two ATX-K pickups, locking tuners and a Koa pickguard.
