Lovies Guitars is offering up this Beautiful 1983 Fender American Standard Telecaster in a Rare Sienna Sunburst Finish! Manufactured at the historic Fullerton factory during the “Dan Smith Era”. If you are a Jeff Buckley fan, this is the same model he used before his untimely death. The bridge is a short-lived design deviation: a stainless steel, Fender/Schaller top-loading bridge with Elite saddles. This bridge contributes to a different character described as “snappy” rather than “twangy”, giving the guitar a surprising amount of projection when strummed unplugged. This guitar is a very acoustically resonant guitar and sounds cool unplugged. A very different feel at the end of an era for Fender. The neck is true and plays nice. This Awesome guitar is in Great Shape with a fair bit of finish marks and dimples on the body, pickguard wear, a fair sized finish chip on the top treble corner on the back body, a fair sized finish chip on the right side body, headstock has a few minor dimples and indents, light hardware tarnish, 8/10. ALL Original-NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. Includes an Original Hard-Shell Case!!
