The legendary T`Bird is Gibson`s most popular and longest-running electric bass guitar. Noted for its outstanding design, thunderous tone, and neck-through-body construction, Thunderbird has always been in a league of its own. 2018 lineup features only one T`Bird, simply named Thunderbird Bass 2018. It features a gloss finish, black hardware, black plastics, and matching headstock trims. Other notable features include solid and flat mahogany body wings (classic Thunderbird pickguard on the treble side), a 9-piece mahogany/walnut through-body neck (rounded profile, satin finish), a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.5″ tektoid nut, 34″ scale, 12″ radius), a Babicz bridge, Thunderbird soapbar pickups, and Grover tuners.
