The Collings Mahogany Doghair finish is perhaps our favorite, especially when combined with the Deluxe features like grained ivoroid knobs and pickup surrounds (all made at Collings). Lollar Imperial Pickups handle the tone angle, while Collings classic ’59/early ’60 neck shape and fretting details make this a dream to play, even when practicing without plugging in. The CL Deluxe is built for tone! Lightweight, resonant mahogany combined with a carefully hand-set mortise and tenon neck joint bring tonal complexity and sustain to the table in spades. This beautiful instrument is in Excellent Shape with just a many minor indents and light marks on the body, a few minor indents and marks on the neck and headstock, easy 9/10!
