Lovies Guitars is Excited to offer up this 1990’s TV Jones Guitars 5-String Precision Bass with a Shell Pink Finish! Made by master pickup winder and luthier Tom (TV) Jones. He has made a very small number of instruments, most notably for Brian Setzer and John Fogerty. Long scale plus a wider string spacing make slapping this behemoth a breeze, and that low B has the resonance of a piano string, it’s absurd. The shell pink paint is ORIGINAL 60’s Fender mixed paint that Tom had laying around, which just adds to the cool factor. Pickups custom wound by the man himself… body and neck also built by Tom. A lightweight bass for its size, this thing has amazing tonal versatility and is equally at home playing funk as it is boppin’ jazz.
