Lovies Guitars has an incredible 1935 National Resonator “Style O” Resonator with a Chrome finish, up for grabs! Killer sounding and rare 14 fret National “Style O” with slotted headstock. Seeing the future the Dopyera brothers sought to create a 14-fret guitar without retooling the body. The result is a longer scale “Style O” made only a short period of time. Everything is correct for 1935…Desirable round neck with 14 frets clear, smaller body with 2 palm trees front and back, slot headstock with original tuners, rolled f holes, “chicken foot” style cover plate holes, bound ebony fingerboard with real mother of pearl dots. The neck is 1.85” at the nut and has the soft V of the classic 30’s neck that we love so much. It sounds great and plays well too! There’s a bit of relief to the neck, which makes it a lot easier to play slide. The neck joint is solid and tight. Everybody has their preferences, but to most folks this is the most desirable package of features for a “Style O”. For 85 years old it’s in Fantastic shape, there are, however, a couple small cracks in the fretboard and some neck wear. No Breaks or Repairs! Original Hard Shell Case included!
